Cora Dixon Part 3
Cora was tired and happy. The night had been long and tense, but the outcome was good.
Cora was now the new mayor of Lowden Valley. Everything had worked out. Her dream was realized. She was so happy, she could have been platinumn!
She went to bed as soon as she got home. Sleep eluded her, however, so she got up and started to paint, hoping the calming activity would help her feel drowsy.
Finally, by two in the morning, Cora turned off the lights, drew her summer comforter over herself, and slept.
