Lily Meighrows Part 1
Most of Lowden Valley was new, except for the farming district, which had been there forever. Most of the buildings were shiny and painted and looking as if they were built just yesterday. Most of them were, actually.
Most of them - but not Lily Meighrows' new house. If one could even call it "new". As she got out of the cab and looked at the place she'd recently bought, Lily wondered if she'd made the right decision. The exterior was horrible - the plaster was badly stained, weeds were growing all throughout what used to be a nice lawn, and the wooden decking was weather-worn.
