The hot water poured down over Millie's head. The headache she'd had the night before hadn't yet subsided, and her chest hurt. The steam felt good. She stayed in the shower until the water turned cool. The thought of facing another day in the store was overwhelming. She could hardly breathe, and standing was becoming a bit of a challenge, too.
