Bungalow Multi-House

Wow, I’ve got 4 done already! This is just too much fun. I’m sure enjoying my Saturday!

This home’s exterior is inspired by a Craftsman-type bungalow I found online. I took up the entire front yard with a garden-lined walkway. This home is worth ยง22,559 furnished.

CC: Again, I used siding, windows and doors, and the shutters from Peacemaker.

Not much more to see than the front yard since the house is placed at the back of the 30×20 lot, but since you insist, I’ll give you a few more angles. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It’s on the Gallery. As usual, look for #ttw, #multihouse, username of WebbyMom, or the item title, Bungalow Multi-house. Enable CC!

Veronaville Multi-House

I’m having so much fun with this series! Here is house #3, a Tudor-styled home with lots of lovely flower gardens and window boxes.

Pretty sure the only CC in this house is the 3-tile archway from Peacemaker I used in the base house, which if you don’t have it, just delete the wall tiles to open into the little hall. ๐Ÿ™‚ All the rest of the stuff is in-game items, lots from Get Together, of course.

This house is worth ยง24,225 furnished, so it could be a starter if you plop it down unfurnished, I think. I built it on a 30×20 lot in Windenburg where the front edge of the lot was 30 squares, but I placed the fence on the right in such a way that if you have a different lot layout, it should still fit. At the very worst, you’ll lose a bit of fence and a tree or two. ๐Ÿ˜€

It’s on the Gallery now – search for Veronaville Multi-House, #ttw, #multihouse, or my username, WebbyMom. Enjoy!

The Multi-House Modern

This exterior was highly inspired by the original plan I’d found online. I love the bright colours and the mixtures of wood types!

Other than windows from Peace’s Vaulted Ranch Set and the 3-tile archway in the base house house build, there is no other CC in this home. It’s on a tiny-weeney 20×15 lot so you can put it on any other size lot you would like. Do have MOO on when you place it.

Couple more pics for ya:

It’s on the Gallery under the title “The Multi-House Modern” and you can search the hash tags #ttw #multihouse or my username (WebbyMom). Be sure to enable the Includes Custom Content option! Enjoy. ๐Ÿ™‚

Victorian Multi-House

Number One in my series of external renovations – a cute little Victorian cottage!

(Just remember, nothing on the inside is changed from the Base house, this is an external renovation series only. ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

This house is worth ยง30,354 furnished. I’ve left most of the back yard only slightly landscaped so you can add what you need for your own sims. ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s on a 30×20 lot, so you can use as-is or place on a bigger lot to expand the yard and/or home.

Also, best to use the MOO cheat when placing, just to be sure. You can see what Pack items it uses on the Gallery listing.

Small Homes – Base Layout

All right, I came up with a base that I’ll use for all the homes I’m designing. As it turned out, I did put in a bit of interior furnishing just so you can see the “intended” room, um… intentions. ๐Ÿ˜€

From plan view to street view and then clock-wise around the exterior, here are the images of my base house.

I’ll upload this to the gallery eventually. I tried to use only Maxis stuff (I have all the crap except for Spooky Stuff and My First Pet Stuff), but the hall really needed a 3-square arch, so I will admit to using Peace’s “Vast Entry Frame” for that bit. If you don’t have it, you’ll just have to delete that bit of wall and VOILA! An opening to the tiny hall. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not going to upload this right away, mind you. I’d rather have my own chance of doing up the exterior before releasing it to the masses to do their own thing with.

HOWEVER – if you feel the need to try this self-challenge yourself, then by all means, create your own preferred base layout and go for it! It would be so great to see what others do with this idea! Leave a comment and let me know what you think and/or if you are doing it as well!

Small Home Series Coming Up

OK, I had this inspiration today to do a series of builds with a sort of self-challenge and/or theme, whatever you like to call it. And there’s a back-story to the whole thing, of course. ๐Ÿ˜‰

That being that I was watching a bunch of tiny home videos yesterday, as I’m wont to do every so often. I find them so inspiring – so much you can do in small (or small-ish) places!

But no, this will not be a Sims Tiny Home series. ๐Ÿ˜›

It will be, however, a small home series. Probably not starters, since I don’t want to limit my creativity too much. ๐Ÿ˜‰ But I think I’ll build them on the 20×15 lots in Newcrest so that anyone who may want to use them can put them on any sized lot without troubles and expand as needed from there.

EDIT: Quickly decided that a 30×20 lot would be waaaay better, especially if I want to do an A-frame version. ๐Ÿ˜€

AND SO: Here’s the plan.

I’m going to build a two-bedroom home with a good, playable layout. Before I do any finishing on the inside or outside, I’ll save that base.

Then I’ll take that base and create a bunch of different house styles with it. So one home would be modern, one would be Victorian, one would be a cabin and one would be a Tudor home.

See where I’m going with this? Ha! Too much fun, right?

I will probably use CC, but I pretty much only use Peacemaker’s CC for building, so it shouldn’t be too hard to track down the stuff I use. I’ll be uploading them to the Gallery, of course, since packaging them is a HUGE pain when the Gallery is so easy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I will post pictures and pertinent information here on my blog when I’ve completed one and uploaded it to the Gallery so you can find them. If you so choose. And if you don’t choose, no judgement here. ๐Ÿ˜€
